Mission Statement

Earth Regeneration Society is a nonprofit public benefit corporation and is not organized for the private gain of any person. It is organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for charitable purposes.

The specific purposes for which this corporation is organized are to educate and inform the general public about environmental issues that affect social, economic, and political systems and to develop, support and promote scientific methods and research to address these environmental concerns for the preservation and betterment of all living things.

Since April 22,1983, E.R.S. Board Members and regular members have participated locally, nationally, and internationally, in environment situations where they affect health, education, employment, housing, agriculture, forestry and energy technologies.

A major focus for early 2007 will be the preparation, printing and distribution of our book "PLANET BUDGET" with targets for soil remineralization, forest expansion or re-planting, and new energy technologies, and bringing the atmospheric carbon dioxide level from around 380 parts per million (ppm) back to 280 ppm and thereby contributing to stabilization of the climate. "PLANET BUDGET" will call for local and national bodies to accept these targets, or develop their own, as a "planetary budget" to work toward. This will be a natural extension of the United Nations Rio Summit and the call for a Climate Stabilization Treaty, June 1992. These targets, as a whole, can be considered part of a full survival operation following the actions started during the last ten years.
